Douglas Chamberlain, President

 

Douglas Chamberlain’s construction experience spans over 40 years and encompasses a wide range of commercial projects ranging from hospital, high-rise and bridge construction to shopping center and self-storage projects.  Prior to establishing Chamberlain Construction Inc., Mr. Chamberlain worked for Storage USA, Inc., as Executive Vice President of Construction.  During the ten years that he was with Storage USA, Inc. Mr. Chamberlain was in charge of nationwide construction efforts, which led to the building of approximately 35-50 million dollars per year of self-storage facilities.  Mr. Chamberlain has a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Stephanie Roberts,

Chief Financial Officer 

Stephanie Roberts’s background in business finance provides our company with the expertise necessary to establish a sound operating structure. Ms. Roberts is a Certified Public Accountant, who has worked in both public accounting, with Peat, Marwick, Main & Co., and as a controller for Storage-USA, Inc. She is also a Maryland attorney.

Douglas York, Project Manager

Douglas York is experienced in all facets of the construction business having worked over 30 years in the Mid-Atlantic region on hundreds of commercial projects. Prior to joining Chamberlain Construction Inc., Mr. York worked for Costello Construction of MD, Harbor View Contractors, Inc., Hencken & Gaines, Inc., and Ra-Mar Homes, Inc. among other general contractors. His construction experience covers the gamut from retail shopping centers, to restaurants, schools, office buildings and historical renovation projects.
